Question about 1992 Buick Regal
Clear fluid under the hood can only be a few things. it could be water either from rain or condensation, perhaps on the air conditioning system, not a problem, warm humid outside air will give up some moisture when it contacts the cold a/c lines. it could be power steering fluid, check the reservoir and see if it is low. the power steering pump is belt driven and it is mounted on the front of the engine. or it could be brake fluid, seems most likely. you can take the cap off the master cylinder and see if it is low, wipe it off first so you don't get any dirt in the fluid. there is a rigid line that carries fluid to the brake assembly and a flexible line that allows the wheels to move when you steer the car. when they leak it is usually the flex line that leaks. it is usually pretty easy to find, there will be a clean spot where the leak is coming from. be careful with brake fluid, it will eat the paint right off your car. hope that helps
