Blowing o2 sensor fuse and then not charging battery

99 dodge intrepid with the 2.7- it started out by blowing the fuse after 10-15 miles, then only when i started to drive, now wait 3 seconds after startup and it blows. i cannot drive this car because it will not charge. i took it to the dealer in town and the tech said everything was working fine and could not get the fuse to blow, but when i picked it up, i couldn't aven get out of the parking spot when it blew. the tech then re-scanned it an could not figure out why. the o2 sensors are working properly and the alternator works fine. the other thing is that when i turn to the left, at a certain point ,the tranny goes into limp mode. could these 2 things be related?

the o2 sensor fuse in the fuse block under the hood. yes i pulled into a tranny shop and they pluged it in end scanned it and even flashed it. but that did not fix it. the limp mode problem existed before the blowing fuse problem

Which fuse is blowing and When it goes into limp have you had it scanned for codes. If the TCM goes into limp then it will have a code in the computer memory.

Fuse for an Oxygen Sensor?
You don't use the car,you component
test the sensor or it's circuit & resolve the issue
For a fuse to blow you would need a failed heater circuit
in the sensor,so it basically faied
O2 Sensors get replaced every 100,000 miles or sooner if they fail
You should have a MIL lamp on your dash & codes to be

I just got a 02 sensor fo rmy dodge intrepid and put it in and it started running worse so I changed it back to the old one and it is doing better. Did I get the wrong one?

You didn't mention if a specific code was retrieved to have you change the o2 sensor. Also did you replace the correct sensor? I mean when a code comes up for an o2 sensor it will tell you which sensor, 1 or 2 and in which bank 1 or 2. Your car is a v6 and has four sensors. Also you upon changing a sensor would have to disconnect the negative battery terminal which is at the right upper engine compartment, usually a good idea to do before you start job and reconnect when finished.
Now you have to wait for the car computer to relearn the new sensor and put the cars world good again. I would be happy to help you further if you have any more questions. GOOD LUCK.

I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L and ran the coputer and gave me codes P0700,P0056,P0135,P0141,P0155,P0161, Po871. I have replaced all O2 sensors and cam shaft and the codes for the sensors still come up....

Try removing the negitive cable from the battery for 5 minutes. Hook it back up and start the car. Let it warm up and then drive it normally for 2 or 3 miles. Then recheck for the codes.

99 intrepid hard to start and or cutts out, what is my solution

n most 90's and up Dodge/Chrysler vehicles, you can try to pull codes from the car's computer as long as you still have a charged battery. Put your key in the ignition, and turn it forward, but not far enough to engage the starter. Turn the key back to the Off position, then forward, back and forward again. In early 90s vehicles, the Check Engine light is going to flash a number of times. Often, code 55 means it is completed.
In mid and late 90s vehicles, you will often get a 4 digit code that may help you diagnose problems starting, mostly checking the eletrical, ignition and sensor systems.

I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid. I received 2 error codes P0441 and P0155. I had a sensor replaced and now I am receiving 1 code a Po152. Can you please tell me what this means?

P0152 is o2 sensor 2/1 voltage high. Sensor 2/1 is your right bank upstream o2 sensor located in the manifold. Make sure it is pluged in.
