Question about 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Coupe
I just installed a new stereo using a standard aftermarket wiring harness. The head unit works just fine, and the rest of the car lights dim properly, but the AC's digital temperature display is stuck on full brightness, and the steering wheel controls don't work anymore. (I expected that for the stereo, but not the AC)
Any ideas? Thanks.
If you disconnect the stereo, does the temp. display go back to working properly? Did you connect the stereo Illumination wire correctly? Are all the other stereo wires connected correctly? Double check what the wires in the aftermarket harness are supposed to be and don't just go by color.
