Question about 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
This code is a cam and crank out of sync code.
I have replaced both sensors. Van has 80,000 on it. Idels and acc. great in Park. In drive sluggish to 3000 rpm intermittant power.
With AC on, van in drive, brake pushed and gas to floor there is no change in rpms. When van is under load on highway it acts like rev. limitter is kicking in. With van running, scanner hooked up during problem cam and crank never get out of sync.
Im assuming it is an engine that uses a timing belt. It sounds like the belt has jumped 1 tooth. if it only jumped 1 tooth than the computer will compesate the timing so it is possible the sensors will say they are ok. If it is a motor that uses a chain than it problaly needs a new gear/chain set.
