I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LT. My heater/AC blower only works on speeds 4 and 5. I have determined from what I have read on the FixYa blogs that it is probably the blower resister, My question is, where is it located and is there something else I should check? Thanks for any help on this.

- Your information was right on the money. It runs as good as new. Thanks ever so much.
The blower motor resistor card is located under the glove box. You have to take the bottom panel from underneath the glove box out(be careful not to break the wire clip that holds the wires in place on that panel). Once you take the panel loose look in the back. You will see the blower motor. Behind the blower motor is the card. You will need a 9/32 for the panel and a 7/32 for the card. It is only 4 screws total to remove and 2 wire harness clips. It is about a 15 minute job. Good luck and hope this helps. Auto Zone has the part for around $15.00 and will have the step by step instrutions for you also if you need it free of charge. I think the dealer charges $109.00 for this repair.
