Blower motor will not shut off

I can't speak to the cost, a local dealer can do that. As for the reason the fan runs on, it sounds like either a stuck power relay (location should be in the owners manual) or a bad fan speed regulator. Since the fan is stuck on high, I suspect the fan speed regulator is bad. On some cars the regulator is part of the fan assembly, and on some it's separate. Also, there is a possibility you can repair the circuit board, assuming it's something as simple as a burnt out diode. Best of luck!

My blower motor only works on 1 & 2 & 3 speeds dont work on 4 & 5. I was told to buy a blower motor. Need to know where this is located to replace on my 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

If your blower works at some speeds and not others, the likelihood of the blower motor needing to be replaced is low. The more common problems would be either the switch or the resister that regulates the motor speed. The resistor is usually located in the air duct under the dash.

Fan only works on high speed not low

Try the HVAC, it is Heating, cooling, AC regulator, located near the blower motor. It controls the amount of voltage going to the motor, the highest setting by pass the restictors that is why it only works on high.

You have a bad blower motor resistor. This is located under the dash close to the blower motor itself

Where can the blower heater be located

the blower motor for the heat and air conditioner is located underneath the glove box on the 97 e420
behind a plastic panel. it's easy to get to, but more than likely its the blower regulator thats defective
there is a solution to this problem without having to replace the whole unit which can cost up to $800.00. there is an s-class regulator that you put on the fan motor that will make it blow simply by
splicing a few wires. there is a company in cal. that sells the regulator for under $100. bucks can't
think of it right now but look up the regulator for e420 and you may get redirected to the site. drmack

A/c & heater blower motor not operating, fuses checked & ok.!!

Common problem with the E-class and the blower motor not working was the blower motor regulator. It is mounting right to the blower motor cover on the passenger side underneath the dash. Pull the under dash panel off and you will be able to access the blower motor cover. Pull off the cover to expose the blower motor and the blower motor regulator. Most of the time it is the regulator that goes bad but is possible the blower motor may be bad instead or also.

Have no heat blower motor is not blowing

First check your fuses to see if you have a blown. If not you may have one of two issues. First (and cheapest) is the Heater Regulator this is located within the blower unit and is used to control the blower speed. You need to check the blower isn't moving at all, The regulator will only be at fault if the motor turns. If not the blower unit has gone and needs replacing/ Hope this helps

The blower for the ac/heat only works on the highest setting. The 1,2,&3 settings don't work.

Sounds like the blower motor resister is bad, it regulates the speeds of the blower motor, it should be located somewear around the blower motor, 2 screws hold it in the heater box and it has a electrical plug to it.

Ac blower in low speed only in my mercedes s420 1995

The variable speed in Blower is controled by a blower Regulator. It is near the blower. If you can locate the blower, ussually in the center of the console. It can be accessed from outside of the fire wall ( from engine side). Lift up the blower, the regulator has a triangular shape in the bottom of the blower. It is a lot of work to get to the regulator. Good luck.

Need blower motor replacement info .need to replace heat/ac blower mtr, mounting plate and regulator-where are they located?need diagram or procedure

They are under the wiper assembly under the hood. Remove partial firewall, wiper assembly and "cage" for the motor. The regulator is under the motor. I would check the strip fuse first its but the drivers sidestrut mount in a tootsie roll sized plastic snap container.
