Question about 1997 Pontiac Trans Sport
A/c was working good, turned van off and a/c would not come on. fan blows good, have checked fuses with ohm meter (unless there is a hidden one) and they are ok. dash indicator lamp for a/c does not even work. when you push the a/c button I don't hear the typical compressor "click". seem like electrical but don't know where to start...I'm not much of a mechanic to start with.
I've Witnessed lots of Gm control head failures on this particular System. If you don't get an LED on the AC switch but everything else on the unit works normal then you can assume you have good power and ground and the switch is bad which requires you to replace the control head unit.
