When you fill the radiator does it seem like it takes a long time to add coolant? (adding small amounts bit by bit)?

Ok, you aren't reading comments... So, Does it take coolant only a little at a time when filling? (don't rate this question, answer it)

You did not answer question...When you add coolant after it overheats (adding to replace what got blown out after overheat) does the coolant go in rapidly when you pour it in or will the system only accept a small amount at a time? If it only takes it slowly, your radiator may be internally obstructed which will result in the symptom you say you have!

Check to see if you have collapsed hoses that are connected to the radiator

1995 jeep cherokee heater gets cold when slowing down or stopped and get engine temp goes up. is fine at higher speed though

If the coolant is full in the radiator, the only thing I could think of is that the water pump may have worn impellers that do not circulate the coolant well enough at low speed, but does better at higher speeds.

ENGINE OVERHEATING DUE TO AC

Does the engine have an electric fan on it? If it does, make sure it's coming on when engine warms up. If not check fuses. If there is no fuse, replace fan motor. Hope this helps.

Engine temp goes hot when A/C is running. A/C

Possible loose AC belt but more likely a water pump issue. Putting the AC on puts more strain on the water pump to circulate coolant which also would impact the AC performance.

Sounds like either a bad water pump or a stuck thermostat. Stop driving this vehicle unless you can afford a replacement. In the meanwhile get it to a garage and have them look at it, also get the thermostat replaced.
