Question about 2003 Ford F150 Regular Cab
I have a '03 F150 Sport and when I shift into gear and give it gas the speedometer doesn't move. It stays at 0mph until I reach around 40mphs or so (best guest) and then it shoots up to 80mph even though I'm not go that fast. Then when I slow down and get back around 30-40 mphs. it falls back to 0mph. Process repeats. Every once and a while during the day it works fine, but for the most part the above happens. Also, sometimes one I push the clutch in the power to the radio goes off and makes a clicking noise and when I release the clutch the power comes back on. When this happens I can also turn the ingition off and turn the key over without pushing the clutch in and the engine still starts.
About the guage, try replacing the cable that goes to the back of the sppedomoter to the transmission
