2006 Ford Explorer- Buzzing Noise Heard Between 2000-3000 rpms

When my 2006 Explorer Eddie Bauer is at 2000-3000 rpms, there is a strange buzzing/humming noise coming from the engine or somehwere on/in the car. I've had it to Ford 4 times now, they've replaced the exhaust, pullys, tension belts, to no avail. Now they say that its just a "Characteristic" of the car and that all 2006 models do it, and that there is nothing they can do to fix it. Does this sound insane to anyone else?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Replace your blend door and actuator for the blend door and everything will work fine after that. This is a fairly common problem with all fords. The location is behind the glove box.

Try disconnecting the battery for five minutes to reset the computer. You might want to write down your radio station settings. Some radios retain memory and some don't.

If you still have a warranty left on your explorer you can go to any ford dealer and they will remove the player and send it for repair. If the unit can not be repaired they will send a new one and remove you DVD for you and mail it back
