Yes!... what do you mean when you write "power windows went but not return to..." What does that mean? You want free advice?.. Then I want a clear description/definition of the problem. Otherwise, Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

Door ajar switch and dome lights on

You will need a circuit diagram in order to understand how the system works and whether digital electronics and black boxes play any part - as is often the case with later model vehicles.

Repairing a fault without knowing how something works requires lots of luck...

Rear hatch door in ford windstar-mechanism came apart

My back hatch would not open but it appears the lock was sticking and the return spring to the handle is broken. We used the key to unlock the back door and then door opened. Then husband sprayed WD 40 in all the lock holes. Now once we open the door we have to push the handle back down as return spring is still missing but the door opens :) . My van is a 2002 Ford Windstar.

Need an undercarriage protection for our 2003 chevy blazer - cant find one!

There are any number of commercial protection products available over the counter.. of any auto part store, or online.

In my own humble opinion... Your best protection is regular washing with clean water, and some WD40 on all unpainted surfaces. Any coating you put on will eventually trap moisture and contaminants under it, causing corrosion faster.
Easy way to prevent undercarriage rust is to power wash the entire undercarrage, then spray the entire undercarriage with WD-40 before the onset of winter.

WD-40 displaces water, helping to keep rust under control. Suprisingly, it doesn't come off as easily as you'd think in wet winter driving.
Use use two medium size cans of WD-40 to do all undercarriage, making sure to spray every nook and cranny (but avoiding the brake rotors/pads) until it is saturated.

Believe it or not, one good coating will last all winter--at least enough to prevent rust. Each spring, use a high pressure sprayer to clean the undercarriage and reapply a new coat of WD-40 for the spring/summer/fall months.

2001 Montero Rear door latch doesn't open in cold weather. The panel you press to open the door doesn't return to rest position.

I had the same problem and someone in the dealership advised me to saturate the entire latch mechanismn with WD 40 before trying to figure out what is wrong with it, I did so and have never had another problem again, I have solved many sticking locks and latch problems with WD 40 ever since and found 90% of the time parts are not needed just a good lubricant to keep things flowing!!! Good luck, hope this helps.
