Question about 1990 Isuzu Trooper

Window crank wobble.

1990 trooper 4 dour model has a window crank on the dirver's side that wobbles in its socket. I can't figure out how to tighten it

I took the crank off to check the teeth, which are fine. it is the whole crank mechanism that is loose in its spot in the door, but the door makes it impossible to get to the other side of the crank to possibly tighten what looks like a screw that holds the crank in from the other side.

Very well could be that the teeth on the handle are stripped. if you take the door apart, all it is is a pin that holds the handle on. really no tightening

What would cause my car to wobble and then have steering probles

don't drive it until you get this figured out. If you can jack up each wheel, first check all 4 tires for bulging or cracks. They should all be round and run true, no wobbles. Check that wheel nuts are tight on all 4 wheels. Check for top to bottom movement, and side to side, there should be very little movement. Do this by grabbing the tire top and bottom, side to side and rock back and forth. If these things all check out, you may have more serious problems. You didn't say what the symptoms are, so hard to guess. Make sure power steering fluid is topped up, a little hard to do as you have to move the radiator overflow tank out of the way. If you can't do all this yourself, get someone to look at it who knows what they are doing.

How do I take the rear view mirror off a 2005 ford territory? it has seems to have a metal pad that the mirror slides onto. my current mirror wobbles while I drive - apparently it is a common fault?? I...

There should be a small set screw on the side of the metal pad that tightens against the mirror to keep it from wobbling. It may be loose or missing. It takes a very small allen wrench to tighten the set screw. If tightening the screw doesn't stop the wobbling, you can loosen it far enough to slide the mirror up and out of the bracket. Slide the other mirror into the bracket and tighten the set screw.

Steering column has a 1 inch wobble to it

I'm sure there are bolts holding the steering column. This
can be found under the dashboard. Just tighten it up to

Wobble when I drive my car had drive shafts replaced

make sure the new axles match up to exact length of old ones. sometimes aftermarket or rebuild cv axles are slightly shorter also possible the new axles are for a different model passat, thus when tightening the new axle in place it slips out.
