Question about 1993 Nissan Altima
So I have a 1993 nissan altima im hanging onto, 200,000 miles. It seems to be misfiring. I had it computer diagnosed at a local well known auto shop. They say replace the spark plugs, wirers, and fuel filter, and you ll be fine. so I spend $200 on bosch plantinum's,etc, (oh yeah anda new alternator sorry) and its still doing the same thing which is: Under 2000 rpm it has no torque, it jumps and feels like its just sputtering and not getting gas. over 2000rpm it gets going well but i feel its unsafe to drive now as its become a real mess. with no ability to accelerate thats an accident waiting to happen. please help!!
Air intake gasket. Spray carburator cleaner around the gasket running and see if the rpm goes up.
