Question about 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis

My 1999 mercury grand marquis with 78k mile suddenly started giving very poor gas milage. I bought some new plugs took off the shroud and found I didnt know where to start next. can you help me ?

Change air filter, fuel filter, oil and oil filter, also if you have the money, get a smoke test done to see if you have an evap leak

95 Grand Marquis loses power between 45mph - 60mph


Mine was doing the same thing. I took it to one place and they charged me $107.00 for a fuel injection cleaning. That didn't do a thing. I then took it to a backyard mechanic and it turned out to be a bad spark plug. It has been running great ever since. Good luck.

How can i rest my check engine light on my 92 grand marquis. it comes on when i am in motion. There is nothing seriously wrong with the car, I do notice the gas milages as been poor. What could be ca


1 minute won't reset any codes for the Grand Marquis. You need to dicsonnect the ground and wait 15 mins for the caps in the comp to fully discharge.
