Question about 2003 Ford E150
MY HUSBAND FINALLY TOOK IT TO THE FORD PLACE. HE ORDERED THE CABLES FOR THE CONTROLS IN THE DOOR, ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE ASSEMBLY (FOR ONLY A FEW DOLLARS MORE.) CABLES ONLY, COST ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE WHOLE UNIT. SO REPLACING THE WHOLE MECHANISM FOR THE DOOR WAS THE BEST SOLUTION. WORKS LIKE A CHARM NOW. EVERYTHING IN IT (EXCEPT THE TWO DOORS) IS NEW. REASONABLE REPAIR . MY CHURCH PASSENGERS CAN NOW BE ASSURED THEY WILL BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE VAN WHEN WE GET THERE! WAS NOT SO, LAST SUNDAY. HAD TO CLIMB BETWEEN THE SEATS AND GO OUT THE FRONT SEAT DOOR INSTEAD OF THE SIDE DOORS. PANIC, BUT IT IS FIXED NOW. THANK YOU FOR THE SOLUTIONS I HAVE FOUND IN THE PAST FOR OTHER THINGS.
