This is a charging issue. i recommend checking the alternator for its operational value. you can have this done at your local auto parts store(auto zone). they will test the alt for its proper functions.

Also, check all battery post wiring as well. make sure everything is connected correctly and tight.

This could also be an issue that concerns the Voltage regulator. i would have this checked as well. its located Under hood, center, upper engine area, front driver side of engine, mounted in alternator

The battery light doen't mean the battery is defective, it means that there is a problem with the battery charging system in the car, did you have the Alternator tested? that is most likely defective.

Check your battery voltage and all connections. Does the car run?
If the car runs then check all your main fuses under the hood/bonnet and cabin fuse box.

My headlights are not very bright. i installed new lights but that didi mot help any. what else could it be?

Get your Alternator and Battery checked. Autozone and Oreillys, to name a few places, will check them for free.

Your truck is 12+ years old, some of the plastic in the lens could be clouded. There are kits to repolish the lens.

If those ideas fail to help, pull the sockets and check for 12 volts at the bulb. If you are not getting 12 volts, ask the Autoparts place if your truck has a separate headlight relay.

I need to change the brake light bulbs in my 2002 ford courier

This is a pretty simple DIY I just didi it last Saturday! When you open the hatch there are 2 robertson screws on the side of the door seal where the tail lights meet the door opening. Remove both screws and pull the tail light lens straight out towards you trying not to pull the inside out much further than the other side (it is held in with clips on the outer edge that may break. The whole light assembly will come out in your hands with only the bulb holder wires keeping it attached. The bulbs twist 1/4 turn to remove and easy replacement of the bulb. Do the reverse to replace! Hope this helps

Wont start 1995 80 series landcruiser

One of the red wires on your battery works the power to the ignition.
If a wire has melted it`s insulation, the wire could be burnt out.
Also, repeated starting attempts will cause the wires to get very hot.
Why did you change the battery ? Was it just flat or didi you have this problem before you changed it.?
