Question about 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

1 Answer

A/C blows, but barely comes out.

I heard there was a filter to change that was clogging the air from blowing out a/c vents, but do not know where.

The filter is inside the glove compartment, you need to take the compartment door out and there is a filter in the back, also it could be tha blower

I have a 2009 kia shortage and a/c is cold, but only tiny bit of cold air coming out of vents. Can hear blower blowing hard, but not out vents. Air seems to be lost behind glove box ?

Your Kia may have a cabin air filter that is clogged. Will be located behind glove box, above the blower motor. You can find very helpful videos on u tube for help changing it.

2007 Kia Optima front vents quit blowing air

If you mean the blower motor is not working at times, it can be the motor, a resistor, or the switch on the dash. Could also be a bad connection in the wiring harness.
When the blower won't work, a mechanic would check for power and ground at the motor.

The A/C won't blow out the 2 main vents in the dash. It only blows out the side vents by each door. Also, after running about 30-45 minutes the A/C loses almost all power and there is barely any air...

Possible that the vent control is blocked or is being turned off. you will need to check this out or it can be fault within the blower, the vent control or a physical block.
The loss of cooling can be due to many reasons and it can be related to clogged evaporator, faulty, compressor, low gas or faulty fan/condensor.
I think you must take consensus before any part is changed, check all the controls, check fan or it might need a resetting of the blower/evaporator unit.

Acceleration no air, foot off gas air barely blows out vents

The vent is controlled by vacuum. Check the condition of the vacuum hose associated with the vent control. What is happening is when you decelerate, the intake manifold vacuum increases, and a diaphram is slightly pulled giving you air in the vent but very little. In normal condition the diaphram wont even pull. Solution is check for a vacuum leak in the vent control trace it coming from the intake manifold.
