Question about 1996 Saab 900
Has it ever been replaced? It has reached adolescent and at this troublesome age it probably needs to be lubricated, but more likely replaced. If you enjoy, and are adept at, work in tiny, dusty & poorly lit spaces, then have at it. Get the proper lubricant from an auto parts store and/or their referral on where to have it replaced.
