Question about 2007 Toyota Yaris

1 Answer

I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris, while rolling my driver's side window up I heard a loud POP and the window fell and will not roll back up. Does it have a worm gear? If so did it break?

It has a cable regulator that has broken, you will need to replace the regulator.

My drivers side window has fallen off sideways in the door.I rolled it up and the window did close OK. What has happened and will it slide off again

Depending on the make model and year of your vehicle, you have either broken the clip at the back of the window that holds it into the track, have a broken window regulator, or Broken a guide at the bottom of the window. I would say yes, the window will fall if rolled down again until repairs have been made.

Why do the power windows on the drivers side roll half way down?

I have heard of this problem when the window regulator has been changed or disconnected from the car. There is a procedure you need to do before you install it (I don't know exactly what the procedure is).

2007 denali drivers side back door window will roll down but not back up

Problem should be in the rear door switch. The motor is powered from both switches.

Got in my car, went to roll down the window and heard a pop. Then the window rolled all the way down and now it won't roll up.

Sounds like the window track fell off the window regulator. Sometimes you can replace the roller that goes between regulator & motor, but most times you will need to replace window regulator. Take off interior door panel & see which option is possible.

try going to passenger door window switch and reset it by going down and holding for extra 3to5 seconds after window is down, do same to go up, then try doing it with master switch don forget to hold it longer, this is a reset also used on Scion vehicles, hope it helps.
Good luck
