Car turns over but no start Its a 2000 Grand am put a starter in but still no start

    Dose it trun over? If so check for fuel pressure if it has it then check for spark.

You either have a defective starter drive or the flywheel has damage teeth. Remove the starter and inspect it and the flywheel.

2000 grand am won't start

It doesnt take alot of amperage to make a light come on, once you go to crank a car it can take 400 to 700 cranking amps.I would check this more.

Check the battery voltage when running--it should be 13.5 to 14.5 volts DC. If it reads about 12 volts, the alternator or regulator may be near the end. Have it checked at your favorite auto parts store.

My 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan will not turn over. All I get is a "Click." The Alternator and starter were just checked out and they are fine. Is there some kind of electrical relay switch that could be bad?

Try taking both battery connections off and cleaning both battery posts with like a wire brush then take like a piece of 150 grit or so sand paper and put it in the end of each battery cable and sand them till they are fairly shiny then hook battery back up and try and start the van.

My car is hard to start

It might be the fuel pump. if you go to start the car and dont hear a low humming then its your pump. you can also check the wires going to the starter
