Question about 1994 Lincoln Town Car
I have a 1994 lincoln town car one day i was driving and the oil light came on the the car turned off it didn't over heat. the heads are fine and the timing chain as well i put oil in it now it wont start it just cranks over does anyone have a solution please thank you
An engine needs three things to start andrun; fuel, spark, and compression. The non-starting may or may not be related to the previous oil situation. The oil light came on because it lost oil pressure. If it lost oil pressure and it's a well worn engine to start with, it might not have enough compression at the rings to start. If it doesn't have enough to start, it'd barely run if you somehow did get it started. It may not start because of some totally unrelated problem like fuel or spark. The only way to find out is to have a technician troubleshoot it. Good luck.
