2001 Kia Sportage fuse 4 radiator fan?

2001 Kia Sportage is there a fuse for the radiator fan? The fuse box does not have a label for the fan or anything similar... Any idea where I could find the right fuse if there even is one

Radiator fan fuse is fuse # 5 (40 amp/Green) located behind the interior fuse access panel on the left side of the instrument panel next to the steering column. Also, in the underhood Power distribution center, next to the air cleaner filter are two black fan relays: high speed (F) at the far left, second row down and a low speed, 1st one to the right on the bottom row.

2006 Kia Sportage fuse 4 radiator fan?

your owner's manual should show the fuse layout and it should also be on the fuse compartment cover. The radiator fan will be controlled by a heat sensor so will not be on all the time or when the engine is cold. It most likely has a clutch as well. I don't own a Kia but the basics are most likely the same as all newer vehicles. [2006 is newer to me]

Where is the resister block located?

To remove a radiator in a 2001 Kia Sportage you must start by removing the undercover and than drain the coolant into suitable container. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses, then disconnect coolant reservoir tank.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2000 kia sportage, blower fuse location

Let's start with the passenger compartment fuse box. If you checked the 30A HEATER fuse the blower motor should run at various speeds as you operate the blower switch. If you checked the 10A REAR WIPER fuse (!), and also checked the 30A ADD (?) fuse in the engine compartment fuse relay box, turning on the air conditioner should operate the A/C relay to turn on the condenser fan motor. If this doesn't solve your problem, you'll have to trace power through the various circuits.

2001 Kia Sportage overheats when sitting still, but not all the time, and when the A/C is turned on

If it's cooling properly while in motion, then it's most likely the fans aren't kicking in. Check fuses for the fans and also the temp switch that controls the fans.
Also, in a pinch situation, if out on the road and it starts overheating, roll down the windows, and turn the heater on full blast with the fan blowing...it''ll be uncomfortable, but your heater core can act as an emergency radiator...

Kia sportage overheating while sitting still, not all the time, and only when the A/C is turned on

Have the radiator mounted fan checked.

It may not be turning on when the A/C is used.

Try changing the main relays in the fuse box on the drivers side in the bonnet. Mine also gave problems on and off until I replaced it (I changed both. 1 is for the fuel pump and the other is for the ignition)
