Your going to have to get a new key cut at the dealer. The ignition key is a resistor key and needs to be programed to the ignition to disable the pass lock so you can start the car. You can also get a lock smith that is licensed by GM to cut the ignition since that's where he can buy the keys from and reprogram the pass lock to the new key's. It take about 30 min to reprogram the Pass lock system to the new keys and if you need a new fob remote door lock, they can also reprogram a new one too. Good luck and hope this helps.

Get out your wallet and go to the dealer! Not much else you can do. Those keys have imbeded security chips that must be programed by thr dealer.

Start without key

You'll have to have the car towed to a dealer, or call a locksmith that has the equipment to do it at your house. The key has to be cut to fit the lock, then the computer has to be programmed to accept the new key code.

Need a replacement car key for suzuki grand vitara 2006 whom can i contact

You need to go to a dealer to solve that

They may help you once you give them proof
of ownership & a VIN #

They will possibly make you a couple keys

I don't know if you need an owners manual
& have to program them

You should have at least 3 keys that start every vehicle
& one valet key that doesn't

Lost car key and need to replace the ignition in 2006 chevy silverado

The easy way out is to call a locksmith it is cheaper in the long run as you will need to buy a key with a chip in it most likely so the locksmith will make it for you now and save the swap.
Be prepared to show proof of ownership.

Best of it -

Replace key for 2006 Camry. Do I have to go through a dealer?

the best thing is to go to your local toyota dealship! Have your Vin # ( on the lower right hand corner of the windsheild looking from the front of the car). Make sure that you write all the nimbers and letters correctly. They will either order you a new key and key pad or they will have one on site and make it work for your car!!
