There is a bracket on the left side of engine compartment by the firewall/ base of windshield area. There should be 3 relays on it. The fuel pump relay should be the one farthest towards passenger side of bracket.

I dont know where the fuel pump relay is located

It should be located in the fuse box inside the engine bay. The fuse box is probably covered by a black plastic cover that will pop off. The relay should be labeled on the inside of the black plastic cover, so you know which one to pull out.

It would appear that you probably need the fuel pump relay model # RY-479.

Hope this helps!

No power to fuel pump or pump fuse on a 1996 saturn sl1. whats up?

The fuel pump fuse gets its power from the fuel pump relay, which is located in the Instrument Panel Junction Block.

The fuel pump relay gets its ground from G102, which is located just forward of the left strut tower.

The fuel pump relay gets its power from the Powertrain Control Module Connector "C" Pin 10 ( DARK GREEN/ WHITE wire) for the primary side of the relay.

The sencondary side (the side that provides power to the fuel pump fuse) of the fuel pump relay gets its power from the IP BATT Fuse (30 Amp) HOT AT ALL TIMES in the underhood fuse block.

This should be enough information to figure out why your fuel pump is not getting power. Let me know what you find.

Check out the following. Year of model may be different but it should be pretty much in same location.

http://autorepair.about.com/library/images/bl023a-lib.htm

The fuel pump relay is located behind the 12 volt junction block and the fuel pump fuse holder on the earlier models.drivers side fire wall.on later models its located in the relay center on the right shock tower or in the right front corner of the engine compartment.

Fuel Pump Relay Switch

Underneath your hood, behind the passenger side headlight, behind the core support, is a bank of 2-8 relays. One of those relays is the relay needed for your fuel pump. There will also be a fuel pump relay fuse located there. The relay designation should be on the cover of the relay compartment.
