Question about 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible
What is the process to reset the oil life monitor? The instructions in the owner's manual do not work.
To clear "TIME FOR SERVICE" from the Saab Information Display, press and hold the "CLEAR" button for at least 8 seconds. A signal will be heard indicating reset. After the 21st restart of the vehicle, the "TIME FOR SERVICE" message will be cancelled.

How to Reset the CHANGE ENGINE OIL Message
1. With the ignition key in RUN but the engine off,
fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly
three times within five seconds.
2. Turn the key to OFF.
If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes
back on, the engine oil life monitor has not reset.
Repeat the procedure.
