Question about 2002 Isuzu Axiom
Most if not all Isuzu's are known for using a lot of oil, as I know this from experience as I currently own a 2002. They do not show and visible signs of oil burning, because there is what they call Blow-By. The oil slips past the rings, do to Isuzu using a smaller ring size, therefor the oil is burned within the engine! One issue that you may find is a large amount of carbon build up within your engine. I recommend you purchase a can of Seafoam from you local auto part store, such as Advance Auto or Autozone. With a warm engine, and running, disconnect the vacuum hose from your brake booster and allow it **** into the engine about half a can, shut the engine off and let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then start the engine and watch the smoke show. The rest of the Seafoam can be used in your fuel as a great injector cleaner!

You may be lucky that the engine stopped running because there is no oil pressure in the engine. If you bought the car from a dealer, you can take it back and have them deal with the head ache with replacing the engine if there is any internal damages. If you bought it from a private seller, explain to him what happened and hopefully he has the receipt to the garage that did the oil change and have the garage repair any damages. If they did do an oil change double check the work. Is there and oil leak or is the car burning oil that you did not noticed. Regardless there should have been a oil light that came on before it stopped running. Call the dealer and add some oil to see if it starts to get you home or around, but if you have AAA have it towed to the dealer where you bought it and like i said let them deal with it. Keep me posted, be glad to help.
