Question about 1990 Toyota Camry

I have water leaking on the right rear floor passenger side

I own a Chrysler 2005 300 with a sunroof.I did have a leak in my sunroof, but had it repaired and serviced.I've only just noticed that my right rear passenger floor is always wet whenever it rains now.I have checked the door seals and they seem intact and my leather seats are never wet.The sunroof is not leaking since the repair, but for the life of me i just can't figure out were this water is coming from.Any help or suggestions on how i can
stop the water from getting in would be most appreciated.
Thanks!

Would i still get the condensation even if the air conditioner unit is not turned on?Could it be the right side sunroof drain is clogged causing it to over flow?

I'll try checking everything as you suggest. Thanks for your time and ideas of where to start looking.

Sounds to me like your issue is with condensation from your air conditioner. The condensation isn't properly draining, probably from a damaged or clogged drain hose.

You shouldn't get condensation if the air conditioner is not on. I would not think it would be related to your sunroof, unless you physically see water coming in from the sunroof area. Generally there are 2 things that cause water on the floorboard of a vehicle: #1 Condensation from the air conditioner. #2 a bad "heater core", leaking coolant inside the vehicle. If your coolant isn't low, and/or your vehicle isn't overheating, I would not suspect the heater core. It is possible you have a leaking seal on the windshield, door, or a open hole inside the hood of the vehicle, allowing rain (water) to drain inside the vehicle.

You'll need to check it from head to toe. You want to look for water stains and water trails. Start with the rear part of the vehicle, look inside the trunk at the backside of the tail-lights. see if it is leaking from there. Also see if the floor of the trunk wet. You can also check the rear window, rear trunk lid seal, side door-jam seals, and the windshield.

Water dripping onto passenger side floor from the inside passenger assist handle.

Does your car have a sun (or moon) roof? A leak in a sunroof will sometimes follow the roof over to the door post and down to the floor were the water will accumulate. This can be hard to find sometimes but having one person spraying water on the roof while a second one checks the inside of the vehicle you may be able to pinpoint the leak.
Hope this helps.

Water leak on drivers side in my 1999 Honda Civic DX Coupe

Go to the passenger side or driver side there you need to find the A/C drain tube make sure that it is draining outside and not in the compartment area. This drain hose tends to pop out, so when you have the A.C on you notice there is water draining out but in your case its going in thhe car.

My 1999 jeep cherokee is leaking on the passenger floor board. how can i stop the leak?

what is leaking onto the floor? water? antifreeze? if its water and you have a sunroof it might be the drain tube for the passenger side of the sunroof has popped off and the water is running down the inside of the 'A' pilar and onto the carpet,if thats the case you will have to take down the headliner and take a look.hope this helps

Water leak rear floor driver's side as well as floor back of passenger. Drain lines from sun roof are clear. No rear end accidents. Any ideas? So far dealer cannot find a problem. 2007 Camry Hybrid

Roof drains may seem clear, but are the drain hoses, actually on the roof window frame.
Remove the head liner to be sure

Why can't the dealer use a dye type test or smoke tester. The smoke doesn't just have to be used for EVAP, that it was designed for. And you wonder why I do all my own work?

Have a benz 01 ml320, with leaking sunroof drain on

Open up the sunroof and try to unclog the drainage. You will see this from the inside of the ML by opening the whole sunroof and stickin your hear thru. On the drivers side you will see a drainage whole similar to the passenger side. Mine did the same thing and unclogged it with a straw. ljsloan@gmail.com

The right rear side of the floor is wet & i have no clue where the water is coming from. After it rains i can see water coming from a body plug under the car.

check the right rear door panel vapor barrier behind the door panel as if not sealed properly water will leak into the vehicle. a second issue maybe that the sunroof drain is leaking and would also cause a leak

Water leaks into right side floor board during a blowing rain?

My 06 was leaking during rain also. It turned out to be the sunroof. There are two drain tubes in the front of the sunroof that run the water down the corners to the ground and two drain tubes that drain water out the back corners. The water would seep around the glass, which is expected, but both of the tubes on the front of mine were plugged, and the water would overflow behind the dash and fill my floorboards. If my H3 was leaning to the left during a storm then the drivers side would be full of water. If leaning right, then the passenger side. I had to open sunroof and blow compressed air into the drain holes to clear them, but be careful, too much air will separate tubes from sunroof and then you will have to remove the inside paneling around sunroof to get to tubes and reconnect. You may only have one side plugged. you can test it by opening sunroof and pour a little water in the small catch pan in the front of the sunroof and see if it drains as expected (to the ground under the firewall on left AND right side). You can see the holes in each corner of catch pan to drain the water. Plug one with your finger, then the other to find the plugged side. Good luck!! Hope this helps!!

2002 Honda Accord Wet Floor

most common problem is the a/c condensor tube is clogged and is under the car and needs to be cleared with compressed air. also the sunroof track has 4 drain tubes and the right front may be clogged or leaking. you can check that by pouring a cup of water down the right front drain tube in the sunroof track and see if water comes out by the right front wheel
