i posted the same problem paid to have it sealed with silicone and came loose again. i roll a towel and shove it under  the window to support it I am looking for after market top.  I was told this was a COMMON problem.  even though a trim shop did the repair you can tell where it soaked through the top.  I am going to do it myself this time.  but am going to still use the towel for support till i replace the top how sad that chrysler doesnt fix this problem.

My chrysler Crossfire was in flood and won't start/Wire harness

You won't get ANY HELP anywhere in the world

Most vehicles that go under water a scrapped

Your correct & if you think about it,how long would it take a
repair shop to get it going & at what cost to you,not worth
their while.

You now have a hobby to work on

You need to go to Helm.Com & spend whatever the cost of
a factory wiring diagram book is

You will need basic electrical knowledge & testing skills & will
be there a few weeks, I would guess.

You will also need professional scan tool software or you can't
work on any vehicle after 1981

Glass seperating from convertible top. Top is like brand new and I can't afford a whole new top. Any suggestions? From everything I've read on the web it looks like this car has had this problem alot. ...

Your glass was originally heat sealed to the top material. If the delamination area is small, you may be able to refasten it with urethane adhesive. The same stuff that glass shops use to glue windows to metal. If the delamination has progressed farther than 4-6 inches, you need a new top.
Don't bother with a glass shop, they don't do convertibles. Talk to a convertible top or auto upholstery shop.

Try using urethane sealant to redo the seal between the top and the glass.
I have a VW convertible that had the same problem. The sealant comes in a tube that you use in a caulk gun. Made by 3M and I purchased it from Advance Auto. About 18 bucks.

Stereo removal guide for a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire convertible

Gently pry the surround using a plastic tool. There are two catches on the top and two on the sides at the bottom.
With the surround off, you will see the screws holding the stereo.
If there are preamp jacks in the back, it is eaxy to add an aux post using an adapter cable. If there are no input ports, you will need an oscilloscope to find the preamp circuits inside the stereo. Only do this if you know what you are doing and are good with an oscilloscope and soldering iron.
