How to replace blend door actuator on a 1997 lincoln contiental

The problem is most likely not just the blend door actuator, the electric motor actuators fais to move the door because the blend door warps and then it takes an excessive amount of power to move it or it will not move at all, which on this model is the case most of the time. The replacement of these parts requires the dash top be removed from the car, to do this job you need access to the factory service manuals. You can download them for a reasonable fee here. This is a 12-14 hour job at home for an amateur

1999 Lincoln Contiental spark broke off at head cannot get a plug wrench to remove it what do I do now?????

I suppose the plug is down in a tube that goes through the valve cover. There might be plastic melted around it that keeps the socket from going on completely. Verify what is in the way with a flashlight. If plastic, chip it away with a narrow screwdriver or ice-pick, then blow out the chips, You could GENTLY tap a socket onto the sparkplug base safely. You will need a magnet to lift the sparkplug base out of the hole.

Where is the computer located 96 Lincoln Contiental

Hi, the computer is located on the engine side of the firewall. There may be a bar that goes from the tops of the strut towers. If so, remove bar and the computer is where a large bundle of wires goes into firewall.
Take care

Alarm goes off for no reason

they probably installed a mercury switch on the system most older alarms have them, you may need to bring it to the place that installed it to remove that, they can hard wire it past that, alarms are made with that feature so if someone pushes down on the hood or tail that makes it go off, it is more a saftey feature, so it can be removed. rate this please.

1999 car alarm goes off when the car is locked.

Not a solution, but details about the same problem with my car: I have a 99 Lincoln Continental and have noticed correlations between certain conditions and the frequency of the car alarm going off.

When it is hotter outside, the alarm goes off more frequently than when it is colder.

The more of a slant the car is parked on, the more often the alarm goes off. My boyfriend's driveway is on an incline and any time I park my car there, the alarm will go off every 30 seconds. If I move the car to the level street, it doesn't go off at all. This has been noticed on other slanted places I've attempted to park as well.
