Got to be the heater core or nipple. Grab a manual and see where its located and check that.

I have a 2000 mazda mpv. I have a coolant leak, but it only seems to leave a puddle after I run the ac for about 20 min. When I opened the hood, I had coolant pudded up by the batter box, ect

Hey William..what color is this "coolant".. if its clear.. its just condensation from the accumulator... ALL vehicles do this in summer when you run the A/C...
IF its green or orange color.. you do have a coolant leak.. this needs a professional to take a peek and see where it might be not put this off... it MIGHT leave you on the side of the road!!

Smoke is coming out of my vents

You have a leaking heater core. Leaking antifreeze into the heater case. Soon you will have a puddle on the passengers side floor.

Coolant leak

i think you got a head gasket leak,,,if its buring coolant the only thing that will burn it is a leaking head gasket,,its probably leaking into the cylinder and burning it and leaking externally where you see coolant on the tranny,,,replace the head gasket,,,

99 Sunfire Coolant keeps dumping

You need to find the source of the leak. it hasn't overheated yet because you keep catching it and re-filling. From your description, it sounds a lot like a bad water pump seal (part of pump) but without physically looking you can't be sure of that. when the pump seal begins to fail, internal pressure while running often will drive the seal tighter against the shaft stopping the leak. as pressure drops as the engine cools, the seal relaxes and permits seepage.
With time, that will change and it will leak all the time.

We have a 1995 buick lesabre.we installed a new water pump thinking that was where the antifreeze was coming from.(not so)can anyone give any ideas to where the leek might be coming from?

Hi There;
This is kind of an open question isn't it?
You might have a head gasket leaking or a heater core leaking or the radiator could be leaking or a heater hose or a casting plug (frost plug), might be rusted out & leaking, I'ld like to narrow it down for you but... your best bet is to park the car some where there is no stains on the ground. let it sit. then later move the car & try to find out what area the puddle is at. I might be able narrow it down for you. The biggest issue is with a 14 year old car it's gonna be hard to pin point it for you just because there is so many possibilities.
Most common leak would be the side tanks on the radiator. check for moistness along the edge of the fins on the rad or coolant pooling below the radiator.
Please get back to me if you need more input.
Good luck, Hope this helps
