Question about 1991 Porsche 944
I have a 1984 Porsche 944. I just replaced the clutch and now after a day or so of driving the clutch starts to slip. I can fix the problem but only for a day or so by bleeding the hydraulic lines, there seams to be some residual pressure left behind in the lines when I am having the problem because when I crack the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder it squirts out some fluid. For some reason it seams that the slave cylinder is not returning all the way when the clutch pedal is released so it is not allowing the clutch plate to fully engage. Do you have any ideas what the problem might be?
Check the free play at the clutch pedal. it should be between 2.5mm and 3mm.
