SOURCE: Rear brakes need ajustment on Buick Lesabre

I don't know if this works on a Buick but I have had two cars that the auto adjusters worked when you used the parking brake, I rarely use the parking brake so I got in the habit of working the parking brake 20 times or so at oil change time.

If it is like the 2002, one is in the engine compartment near the jumping post. The other is under the back seat.

2001 Buick LeSabre 3.8 L V6 Brake light came on checked reservoir it was empty. Added brake fluid, light didn't go off and brake pedal still was going all the way to the floor. Later found out the brake...

Since the fluid ran out, you'll have to manually bench bleed the master cylinder. Then try bleeding each wheel. If that doesn't work, you'll have to take it to a shop for a scan tool ABS auto bleed procedure.

HOW to bleed brakes on a 2003 Buick lesabre

I have used this technique on several vehicles. It takes a bit longer, but is easy to do. First I remove most of the old fluid out of the reservoir and fill it up with new brake fluid. Then I break open the two bleeder valves at the rear wheels of the vehicle. Keep the reservoir from emptying (very important) and when the color of the fluid coming out of the bleeders turns clear close them. Do the same with the front brakes. Gravity does the work for you, just a bit slowly.

Look for a bleeder on ABS HCU unit- the one with brake tubing

Drive it & then Bleed again

Have to hear the abs pump come on,check fuse for it

If that doesn't work may have to open the

2000 buick lesabre with abs-low brake pedal after changing all 4 rotors and pads. did not open the hydraulic system

When changing pads and you push the caliper in for the new pad you should open the bleed screws. , then close and re-assemble. press pedal and open bleed screw and let it drip a little . gravity bleed. Did you turn the read caliper piston in and then press it down? The rear piston must be aligned with the pad. Did you pump the parking brake to reset?

Bleeding front brakes and brake pedal still goes to floor board

Must bleed all four brakes to determine if there is air in the lines.

If after bleeding several times, the brake pedal still goes to the floor board, the master cylinder may be determined to be bad.

Bleed the brakes on 2002 buick lesaber need to power bleed?

Not really. Works better but if you are going to manually bleed brakes start at the farest point. 1) RR 2) LR 3) RF 4) LF don't forget to check brake res. and refill as needed. I am assuming you know how to bleed brakes.

1992 Buick LeSabre brakes bleed but very lil brake at pedle

start bleeding your brakes from the rear wheels and work your way to the front. I'm assuming you already did a pad change since you say you got the air out. make sure you keep the fluid level and not let it get too low while you're bleeding them or air will get into the master cylinder and you have to start all over again. Make sure you have someone help you that is competent enough to hold the brake pedal down all the way and not let off even the slightest bit until you get the bleeder screw tightened.

No brakes in my 1998 buick leSabre

running master low enought for brake light to come on, you might have got air into system, if that is the case you will have to bleed out the breaks. worse case, it would need a new master cyl.
