I think the code is a code for the battery.
Have you changeg it latley?
If not you might want to get the batter tested see if it is good. Thats asumming by not starting it does not turn over.
I have also changed out the Starter Realy witch is under the hood. In the fuse box panial. Lift off the top of the fuse box should be two clips holding it in place. On the underneith side of the try you just removed there should be a diagram that tells you whitch relay is for the starter you may need to replace it. This is the least expincive place to start realy is about 10.00.
