SOURCE: 1988 Audi 90 electric windows stop working

Perhaps it is a problem for an auto electrician. 30 minutes is enough time for a built up charge to dissipate, The charge/short circuit it is causing is not enough to blow the fuse however, since it works after letting the charge clear.
There is no response at all? it doesn't go half way up then stop etc?

It would be alot cheaper to find a known good one rather than rebuild what you have. It is very expensive to rebuild one of these transmissions.

SOURCE: Audi 90 1988 timing problems

there wil be a mark on your camshaft, alternator, igniton coil and driveshaft and on the motor block for each one of them, set them over there and then put the timing belt on, still i would take it to a mechanic for this, because if you do this wrong you might break off a valve inside one or more of the cylinders and that would be more expensive then to have it done right the first time.

SOURCE: 1990 Audi, 90. Information on oxygen fuel

The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust right before the catalytic converter. It is a 3-wire type sensor. You will need to use an oxygen sensor to get it out, and a handy tip is to spray it with some penetrating liquid, then let it soak for 20 minutes before removal.

1988 Audi 90 overheat signal flashes on the dash

2 possible causes. The most likely is a bad multi-function temperature switch (MFTS.) This sensor is located at the front of the engine, on the lower portion of the water inlet neck (where the radiator hose enters the cylinder head.) The MFTS has a four prong connection, and points downwards. As always, check the wiring associated with this switch to make sure there are no bad wires or connections.

Other possible cause is low water level in the overflow tank.

Where is the thermostat located in 1993 audi 90, can i have picture

It is located on the front of the motor under the timing cover, behind the timing belt. Usually this is replaced along with the timing belt job and the water pump. If you follow the radiator hose up from the radiator on the right side it's up where it goes into/behind the cover.

Can't find thermostat location on 1988 Audi 90.

Hi Lol,
I'm not an Audi specialist however if you follow the top hose from the radiator to the engine block the thermostat housing on most engines is at the end, it may have 2 nuts or bolts securing it.
I hope you are now sorted if not please come back to me and I'll try to get my head under the bonnet/hood of a 90 to find what you seek.
Please remember to rate my efforts,

1988 Audi 90 Fuse #12 back up lights & dash lights not working

Hi, first check the wiring at the left trunk hinge. The wires like to break from flexing from opening and closing the trunk lid. Also check the wiring under the shifter cover. It does the same thing. Your most likely going to find a broken wire from one of these places.
