Question about 1997 Buick Riviera
Out of no where my car overheated really bad! I was paranoid so I pulled over and let it cool! I changed the thermostat the next day. Then I let in run for like 20 mins seemed to be ok. So I test drove it to my Moms. Never made it. The car hesitated.. Shook real bad. And overheated again! Only this time It appeared to be burning oil! I think I may have blown a head gasket but not sure. Does this mean my water pump is bad? How can I tell?
How can u tell?

Head gasket is gone...don't forget to have the head checked for cracks and warpage before putting it back on. Check it over for leaks to see if anything else needs repair before driving it again.
