U0105 Engine and all power died while driving. Check Guage light came on and would not start. U0105 code reported.

I guess the easiest thing would be replace your gas cap, or at least remove it and clean all threaded parts & seal if you haven't already. Erase codes drive it, then re-check.Next check all hoses etc., going to your vapor canister for leak, and canister for any holes.

P0300 is misfire and p1406 is EGR. It sounds like you have a chunk of carbon stuck in the EGR valve. Remove the valve and clean the carbon from the valve, bottom side. Then install a screened gasket so it won't happen again.

i would find and replace the oil pressure sending unit although oil pressure is ok the computer needs to know or else it will shut down engine and it seems like your oil pres. sending unit is starting to stick.

SOURCE: Check engine light on after the gas guage randomly

Fuel gauge sending unit is going bad. Mine did the same thing, starting back in May this year. I have it into a shop, and the part is hard to find. You're the third person I see on here with this problem. So far, costs at least $280+ to fix.

Engine die

system too lean at idle suggests that you have a vacuum leak in system. Check vacuum hoses, under dash controls and the vacuum hose to the transmission. check brake booster for leaks.

1996 camry lost speedometer and a/c while driving. Put in new battery and alternator, still no change and now car just lost all power while driving . What is wrong with car?

lost speedometer, what does that mean 0mph at 50? ??????
YES, CHECK all fuses first. all cars, for any electric issues.

A./c lost, (ok there are 6 things that cut A/c some are normal)
one is HVAC dash blower fan must blow or AC brain cuts A.C
this prevent ICE up. (normal)
why guess? please stop guessing and throwing parts and cash.
what does lost all power, driving mean.???
lost engine power (cant drive)
or lost all electric power (a prime reason for EFI to die , for lack of 12vdc electric power)
does lights die on the car, at the moment of problems?
Dash cluster , head lights, any lights.
does engine STALL? (0 RPM is stall) 300 RPM is bad idle.
800 RPM is normal hot idle, never less.

if this is just and engine power issue, (cant drive at all ,or only slow or
slow up hills?)O
my car will not move fast,? in any gear? and transmission don't slip
and no DTC scan codes (checked and smart to do first)

I'd be all over fuel pressure. this is a $20 gauge , that must be connected to the fuel rail to read pressure.
28psi is minimum for all cars.
if i knew what engine was in your car, id look yours up has this info.

the ecu can not report wrong fuel pressure, it cant
so is always and issue, with total engine power loss.
so is skipping 60,000 mile FULL TUNEUP's

if you need those charts they are easy to get. for any car.

Driving along lights dimmed, instrument panel died, loss of power then engine cut out & wouldn't start. Starts with a jump but when i turn key to heat glow plug, instrument panel goes mad

I assume there's a problem with alternator. Check the grounding to engine, check continuity of a positive wire between alternator and battery. the energizing voltage should be checked as well. Might be the bad connection between battery and vehicle body grounding. Diesel cars are sensitive even in a little loss of connection and rust in the connection points.

2001 xterra just shuts off while driving. what cause it to do that?

if it slowly looses power then it could be overheating which would cause the pistons to expand too much inside the cylinders and it would sieze up and die, or it could be the alternator, without which would not provide enough constant power to supply the engine with all of the electrical needs. start and watch the battery guage (if equiped) and the temperature guage (ive never seen a car without one) if the temp climbs near the top, then the problem is the cooling system. another way to check the alternator is to start the car, then disconnect the battery. (disconnect the positive first) and if it sputters and dies, you have a bad alternator. anything other than those two, id say get it checked by a shop

Check engine light comes on and then the temperature gauge goes up to hot

Mine did it too.... The problem is the Engine Power Relay.

The Engine Power Relay is in the relay box in the engine compartment. Aftermarket relay is cheap, but the original Ssangyong part will last many years longer.

U0105 - Lost Communication with FICM
U0306 - Software Incompatibility with FICM
FICM(fuel injection control module) might have gotten unplugged or just completely died. Check out the wiring harness plugs on the module to make sure they are properly plugged in, the module is a silver box mounted under the coolant resevoir to the driver's side valve cover.

sounds like the head or head gasket is blown. your cylinders may be getting coolant in them which will not only cause the motor to lockup, but also cause bent rods and valves. check your oil dipstick and transmission dipstick to see if it looks like water or coolant is presant, also check the coolant to see if it smells like gas or has any kind of oil in it, if so, your head is likely blown.

Shaking/Jumping engine and loss of power going on higher grounds

The engine needs a correct air: gas ratio of 14.6:1 to perform.
You need to check out your Fuel distributor. The engine light is on since there is not a correct mixture then it reports through the Oxygen Sensor.
Other indication is at red light the engine is going to die.
You are losing power since there is not enough combustion efficiency due to incorrect Air gas ratio.

1993 pathfinder xe dies on occassion after the rpm guage flutters

might be in the alternator with the heater and ac on it is drawing alot of extra jucie from the battery in which is putting a strain on the alternator in which is causing the engine to not get enough power to the coil to fire properly
