SOURCE: the blinkers do not work
does the car have a tilt steering wheel do you us it a lot? If so the wires bend up and down enough over time it can break one try to move the tilt ot another location and see if it makes any difference but it is very likely that the switch in the steering column has worn out. At least you wore out yours around here people don't use their damn turn signals enough to wear them out. It'll either be your signal lever contacts are not working properly, or the electronic flasher module (under dash by steering column and is labeled) that has gone bad
