SOURCE: Fuel filter location Sierra

I have been told by a mechanic that the fuel filter is inside the fuel tank. Have to either drop the tank or remove the pickup bed. Access is on the top of the tank. This is poor engineering.

I recently purchased some towing mirrors for my 2007 gmc sierra 1500, how do i change my stock mirrors to these? do you have installation instructions?

Hi, the door panels need to be removed, there are 3 mounting nuts, and a wiring harness,(if mirrors are power).unhook the wire, take the 3 nuts off, and remove the old mirror.Repeat for the other side, and the mirrors should be functional.Good luck...

I just bought an '06 Sierra and found that some of the lights on the radio don't work. It's like a section of them don't light up.

Your best bet, hit a junk yard and check around for a replacement. you'd have to have special tools (in most cases) to even get into the radio to replace backlights. Either that or upgrade to an aftermarket stereo.

Subs on stock radio

chev stock radio does not have extra plug in for sub. to run your sub, im assumed you also going to run an amp to it also. there are no addition plug in in the back, but that does not stop anyone if you know how to rig things. i would not recommend rig wires on your 2007. I would install a new radio before rigging that car; than add a sub. keep in mind most of GM radios come with stock amp built into the radio itself. If you cut the wires from the radio and wire it to your sub amp you will get nothing but distorted sound. anything sound goes to any amp need to be pre-amp in order to work properly. hope that help some
