SOURCE: how do i change the o2 sensor on a 2005 gmc canyon

It is a 7/8 ths Sized Wrench needed for it and you Simplt Unplug it and remove it and replace it. If you see a Problem with this Method , there IS a SPECIAL SOCKET for 02 Sensors and Same Procedure just with A Socket / Extention / Ratchet.

SOURCE: fan control only works on high

Replace the blower motor resister,it is mounted right next to the blower motor,it has a lug with about 7 wires on it.Just unplug it and remove two screws to remove the resister. This controls the speeds for the blower motor. The blower motor is the cause of the resister failure.Even if the motor seems to sound, and run fine,it is pulling to many amps.

SOURCE: how do i add differetial fluid to A 2005 GMC

There is fill plug on the passenger side of the differential drive shaft side where the axle tube meets the differential housing. Your going to need a 3/8" ratchet with the extension and a hammer. Once you get the ratchet with the extension on the fill bolt, which is a square bolt that the extension fits right in. Use the hammer to tap the ratchet to break the bolt loose from the differential, remove the bolt once it has loosen enough with just the ratchet. The Canyon must be leveled to fill the differential, fill till the fluid starts to flow out and reinstall the fill plug. Don't over torque for future fluid check, the bolt is tapered so it will not leak. Good luck and hope this helps.

I guess you do not know that OBD Codes have
nothing to do with replacing parts

The Codes are used along with the diagnostic
info & charts to check the system that set the codes

Only component testing will find a problem

You used the name of a codes to replace a part
with a similar name

I would guess you did no testing & have no idea why the
fault codes were set, so you found no problem, thus you
fixed nothing & the MIL Lamp is still on

You Cleared ALL DATA needed to help diagnose the issues

You lost your codes & freeze frame data at the time the codes
were set & your lost your emission monitor data

Now you get your codes & write them down
Google the codes & study the possible cause
& solutions

TYPE: OBD & your codes

Check engine light codes

the c0899 is a low battery voltage and the u1064 means communication is lost with the bBody Control Module. The u1026 is also a communication problem and the p0449 is an emissions problem, around the venting of the fuel tank. Sounds like several different unrelated problems.

P0300 truck idling for a while this code come up 2005 gmc canyon

That's a misfire code, does the vehicle feel like its running rough? If not it may just be a bad batch of fuel or even time for a tune up depending on mileage.

Have a 2001 Blazer which appears to be reporting false random emission codes. We have chased many of them and "fixed" the problem only to have them return , go away, new codes appear after...

There not ghost code, some come on due to function ck and then suspends the code on come on for logic codes. If you have a low fuel pressure then under a logic lean bank codes appear. If you clear that code and it reappears it can come back as a function code as misfire (due to the lack of fuel) these code do not tell you the exact problems they are just dat that is recieved at the time of the event that has occured. some codes are logic, then get suspended and some come in as function. Number one code reason are alternator related. keep me posted

The light comes on and goes off correctly on start up. Then it comes and goes off periodically for no reason

Its got a reason. The computer for the vehicle should have stored a code that corresponds to the reason the light is coming on. Most local autopart stores have a code scanner to retireve the code. I would need to know what that code is in order to stop light from coming on.
