Question about 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe
If the check engine light is flashing it means that a catalytic converter damaging misfire is happening ! I been working for GM dealerships for thirty years , Chevy , Cadillac , Pontiac , GMC , Buick ! If you have codes checked P0300 to P0308 . depending on engine , V-6 or V-8 . And a basic code reader won't read codes in the ABS - stabilitrak - traction control. You need a up scale scan tool .With the engine misfiring your dumping raw fuel into the exhaust system an catalytic converter .The fuel will ignite in the Cat an it will have a melt down . You don't want to have to by one of these , or maybe two ! Check Engine Light Flashing Misfire Diagnosis by Autolite Spark Plugs

Traction control will cut the power to your engine if it comes on, what the cause is could be a dozen different things. PS... Auto Zone will read your codes for free.

Sounds like One of your abs sensors is out,,, the auto is using the brakes ,,,ABS automatic braking system,,,to compinsate for the sensor not reading making it shutter and act crazy,,,,,,,try pushing the traction button to let you drive it,,, it may work,,,its in the dash center low looks like a little car with tire marks or a t in a triangle. You will have to carry to a shop to repair,,, unless you want to tackle it yourself,, hope this helps

No one knows what anything means, until you check for codes
No one would have any idea what anything costs, as you don't
have any idea of any actual problem & repair costs only come
from the merchant you choose to deal with
There is no price, until you pay for diagnostic & testing, to find a problem & come up with a solution
I wouldn't have driven it 2 days ago
I would have checked for codes first
You can get an inexpensive code reader at Advanced Auto
for about $60.00 or on Amazon, etc

It's a safety feature. For example, if there is no oil pressure when you start the engine, you could not see that unless you were in the car and could spin a bearing or seize the engine by starting it remotely and letting it run unattended. So when the check engine light is on, there is something not working properly with the engine/engine management system and it wants you in the car where you can see the guages and turn the engine off immediately if there's a serious problem.

The traction control light usually goes on when a wheel speed sensor is not sending valid speed signals to the traction control module, or the module itself is bad.
Modules can cost hundreds of dollars, or the wheel hub assemblies replaced to rectify a basd wheel speed sensor can also cost in the hundreds of dollars, unfortunately.
If it jumps a little in the snow, and the traction control light was off (indicating it was working correctly at the time), I wouldn't worry too much about it, as the traction control may be working properly at that time.
Was the jumping alarming making the car 'buck?'
The wheels may have been getting traction intermittently by hitting gravel or the road that didn't have snow and ice on it. This is normal.
However, if the bucking continues, I would have it checked out at the dealer if feasible.
Hope this helps and good luck on this repair.

I would advise to take it to a shop you trust and let them scan your vehicle for trouble codes. From there they can give you an idea as to why these messages appeared. : )
