Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
It is possible that your coolent level is low or the thermostat that you just bought could be bad and one other thing there could be air in the system there for you gt to burp the system until the air is compleatly out

Does the temperature become cooler when the heater is engaged on high? If so you should check the radiator core for clogging. The radiator can be replaced for about $120 if you do it yourself. Check Ebay for sellers. Having the radiator vatted and cleaned would be just as costly and would likely perform less than 100%.
