Question about 2011 Kia Sorento
The light stays lit like it needs fluid but there is fluid in the reserve.
Replace the sensor in the bottle. you can check for a wiring issue by unplugging the sensor and see if the light goes out. if it doesn't, install a jumper wire in the connector. the float in the bottle is just an on/off switch

Unhook the battery for about ten minutes ... that should reset the light... if it comes back on have the codes scanned (autozone is free).
Please take a moment to rate this solution thanks

Remove the small tube that's attached to the fluid tank and press the wash button.
1 - If fluid isn't gushing out take out the connector to the pump and connect a light bulb to it. If the bulb lights up when you press the button the pump either is busted (replace it) or its connectors are corroded (clean them).
2 - if the fluid is gushing out then it's a blockage somewhere down the line; put the tube back in the tank, find and disconnect the other end, press the button. If it doesn't work then you have found the culprit - replace it. If it does flow then continue till you locate the blocked part.

The only one way to fix this frozen windscreen washer fluid is to put the car inside a garage when the temperature is above 0 Celsius degree, (> + 5 C deg.), and wait for one hour for to thaw the car.
