Question about 1997 Ford Taurus
Hot air is blowing into my car it feels like the hot air is coming from the bottom of my car. This has nothing to do with air from the vents. The air comes from underneath and rises from the bottom I cant figure how to stop the hot air from blowing does anyone know why this is happening
Does the air blow in when the car is not moving. if it does, your heater switch is on and blowing hot air in through the bottom vent.

Blend door actuator. When it fails for some reason it turns to the hot side and gets stuck. Dash must come out. I usually do it in 3 hours, because I've done it numerous times.

hi this sounds like the automatic vent system is not working try messing about with the vent control, put it in different positions it may just click in or you will be better off checking the fuses to see if one has blown, if not as it is a new car, you should be able to take it to any ford dealership and they would sort it for you under warranty...hope this helps
