Hot air blows into car from underneath of car what is causing this

Hot air is blowing into my car it feels like the hot air is coming from the bottom of my car. This has nothing to do with air from the vents. The air comes from underneath and rises from the bottom I cant figure how to stop the hot air from blowing does anyone know why this is happening

You say you are feeling hot air comming from the floor, look under the car with a flash light , I think you may find above your cataletic converter an area rusted or burnt where the metal shield from the cataletic converter is missing if the floor is rusted thru pull back carpet and pop rivet in new sheet metal let me know if this was helpful Ken17402@msn.com

Does the air blow in when the car is not moving. if it does, your heater switch is on and blowing hot air in through the bottom vent.

SOURCE: HOT & COLD ELECTRIC VENTS NOT MOVING.

Blend door actuator. When it fails for some reason it turns to the hot side and gets stuck. Dash must come out. I usually do it in 3 hours, because I've done it numerous times.

It sounds like blower motor has failed. Motor is located behind glove box on lower part of heater box.

SOURCE: 2010 fusion A/c not blowing out from vents

hi this sounds like the automatic vent system is not working try messing about with the vent control, put it in different positions it may just click in or you will be better off checking the fuses to see if one has blown, if not as it is a new car, you should be able to take it to any ford dealership and they would sort it for you under warranty...hope this helps

The fuse for the gauges keep blowing and also when heat is turned on cold air comes out the bottom but when it is in defrost mode its hot

disconnect the main plug from your instrument panel...does the fuse blow...if it doesnt, check wiring on the cluster panel, a wire could be rubbing causing a short.
you could have a line that feel off on the heater core or somewhere else ..sorry i cant help more. tell me does your air conditioning work when you turn it to full hot?

Heater doesn't blow hot air

First check the coolant level in the radiator. Check your heater core hoses on the firewall underneath the hood. Let the car come up to temp. and feel the two hoses. If only one of them is getting hot you may have bad heater core or a bad heater control valve.
