SOURCE: warning lights

Either you have a lubrication problem or a bad oil pressure sender. You need to have it scanned for DTC and do an oil pressure test before you seize your engine.

SOURCE: 97 vw jetta won't start,

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You want to make sure your ignition fuse did not blow. If not, if there is power in the vehicle, you may have a bad starter or starter solenoid. If you have no power, you need to check your battery connection. Even if you do have power, check it anyway. Make sure that your terminals are clean and tight. If one is loose, you want to tighten it. Make sure the terminals are not cracked. Inspect your wires from the battery to the starter. Make sure the battery is goods and holding a proper charge. Make sure the battery post are cleaned and there is no moisture spots on the battery. When you are working on the starter, make sure the battery is disconnected. Make sure the connections on the starter are not damaged and that they are connected properly. You may want to tap on the starter and see if that helps. Don't be afraid to hit it a good time or two. When you do this, they can catch sometimes and start. Even if it does, it still will need changed. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and thanks for using FixYa.

2008 vw jetta makes noise from blower

OK. The noise you are hearing is the recirculation flap motor. It could be what is causing the condensation. Easy way to check in after the noise has stopped push the recirculation button on the AC controls to see if the noise happens. If the motor is bad and the flap isn't closing you could be getting moisture from the outside air. As far as the check engine light goes there is no relation. 2 completely different systems. The flap motor would probably run you a couple hundred of dollars. The check engine light could be anything.

Blowing blue smoke at start up

Hmm, is this an older car? Blue smoke on start-up is usually a sign of a very minor oil leak going past the rings.

I normally do not consider this to be a problem if:
  1. The car has sat for an extended period of time.
  2. It only happens on the initial start up and doesn't do it after sitting for an hour or so.

I hear a loud ratteling noise coming from where

The rattle is likely a loose shield or a bad catalytic converter. As for the loud banging, Have you checked the front U-joints behind the brake rotors. As for the Reverse noise? Auto or stick shift?

It sounds like the hyd. clutch is not working. If the clutch won't release then you can't get the transmission in a gear while it is running, without that grinding noise.

I hear Noise when i back up in my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500

do you live in a colder climate? if when you start your truck in the morning and you hear a whine type of noise when you place your truck in reverse, the problem you have is likely a malfunctioning valve body. this problem is common with the 46re trans log onto http://genosgarage.com this site is dedicated to rams both diesel and gas. in the search box at genos type in tech service bulletins and it will list any tsb specific to your ram. it will describe the problem and walk you through how to repair. im pretty sure this is your prob. if you start your truck with the transmission in neutral and let the engine come up to temp before engaging reverse, this will reduce the noise. part of the problem is inadequate trns fluid circulating though the torque converter. placeing your truck in neutral while idling seems to improve fluid flow thereby reducing the noise.
