Did you try replacing the oil pressure sensor? Are you having any unusual noises from the engine or loss of power?

The port is located in the larger of the 2 lines coming from the AC compressor, the charging port will be somewhere on that line with a plastic cap over it, the line goes into a part called an accumulator, it is about the size of a 1lb can of coffee, the port may be there as well, it varies from model to model.

SOURCE: 2000 buick century custom. fuel gauge fluctuates

The sender unit has a fine resistance wire with a slider to read the level, the slider or wires are worn and making intermittent contact, the low fuel light is a seperate switch so it will still work.access to the sender is usually under the rear seat cushon, under the soundproofing and a cover, have a look and describe what you have .

My 2007 Buick 3.9 liter oil light comes on and off. ..stays on for a while then goes back out. Checked the oil level all good. I did recently change the oil to GTX 5w30 extended milage oil. Any idea

The oil light comes on when the oil pressure sensor detects low oil pressure. The amount of oil has little to with it, although very low oil levels can cause loss of oil pressure. The best thing to do is to have the engine's oil pressure checked with a mechanical oil pressure gauge to ensure that the oil pressure is sufficient at all operating speed and temperatures. If the oil light is still flashing on and off and there is no indication of low oil pressure by the gauge, then replacement of the oil pressure sensor is recommended.

Temperature gauge flucuates and low coolent light comes on, whats wrong?

your antifreeze is low that means you have to fill the radiator and the overflow bottle.the reason the gauge fluctuates is that you have air in the system.with the radiator cap removed, start the car turn the heater on high and let the engine run till the thermostat opens.you will know this as the level of antifreeze will fall, fill the radiator and replace the cap turn off the engine and heater and fill the over flow bottle. you may have a bleeder on the top of the engine around the themostat, but if you dont no worry cause your problem should be solved.

Oil gauge is fluctuating...on Low when at a standstill...moves up when i hit the accelerator...i just added 3 qts of oil...and i also have a coolent leak????

That is a good sign, it is working, my oil pressure fluctuates like a tachometer, at idle it is low, like 20 lbs, then when I 'm cruising, 35lbs, but it goes up and down when you pump the gas. The pressure gauge is reading the oil pressure at the top of the engine, it will show 45 lbs with only 1 qt of oil in there, it is not an oil level gauge. You might have an oil light buried on the dash somewhere that will light up if the oil gets too low. ,, Now about that coolant leak, it should have nothing to do with the oil pressure. Is it a hose? Radiator? Joint at the top of the engine? Where is it leaking, and what is it doing? Does it over heat? Or did it overheat? Is there oil floating at the top of the radiator? Does it blow steam out the exhaust? Does it have coolant or just water? Check it out. hope this helps.

sounds like you are getting low oil pressure, could be a plugged filter or plugged oil sump pick up, filter is easy oil pump required removal of the oil pan

1995 buick lesabre limited, oil gauge issue

Could be two things, your oil pump pick tube is clog, oil pan would have to be drop to check, or your camshaft bearing worn causing low oil pressure,I would not say piston rod bearing or main bearing, cause there's no knock noise. You will have better oil pressure when cold due to oil much thicker. so I would forget about a bad oil pump.

From under the car, it's located on the passenger side of the motor.
It is straight up and down (well close, therre is a slight angle) towards the back of the block.

Flashig oil light

You either have a loose/worn engine bearing or a worn out oil pump, do not drive the car this way, you will cause serious damage to the whole engine. A oil switch is for a light, it turns on the light when oil pressure falls below about 10 PSI, a sending unit is for a guage that shows oil pressure with a scale, it may have numbers on the guage or just green and red, or high and low.
