2000 Ford mustang. engine skipping and check engine light flashing. I have checked plugs and wires and they seem fine.

It sounds like you have a misfire. Does it miss more under a load or does it miss primarily,at idle. If under load, it is likely ignition related. Spray water on the wires and coils with the engine running. If they are carbon tracking it will be very obvious as the engine will miss worse.

I have a 1995 Chevy S10 4.3L Engine. What would cause the engine to miss during acceleration??

Have you changed the spark plugs this year ?
Is the check engine light on ?
How's the cap rotor and wires ?
A miss under load is normal when one of the spark plugs is weak or they are not getting enough voltage from the coil. Also, a weak injector or problem with the fuel system can cause a miss.

My engine misses when accelerating and when rpm exceeds 2,000. Check engine code was for cylinder #2 misfire. I replaced the sparkplug and wire on #2, #4, & #6 but, have not figured out how to

Maybe try waiting untill dark ,fire it up,open the hood (kill the hood light)
spray the plug wires with windex(not water) and look for sparks ,if any ,put a set of wires on it. I suppect this is the only problem, bad wires will kill coil packs

Getting a P0300 code. we have replaced all of the plugs w/ NGK Iridium plugs, changed the EGR valve, and one of the coil packs. It ran fine, but 2 days after the coil pack install., we are getting the same...

Have the fuel pressure checked and try replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor. If an engine is not getting enough fuel it can also cause a missfire. If the on board computer gets incorrect information from a engine sensor that is defective ( such as an engine coolant temperature sensor ) then it may set the injectors to shorten the fuel pulse width cutting back on fuel delivery and not knowingly be causeing the misfire its self. That to me would explaine the random misfire. I hope you find this helpfull. From Ernie @ RedDeer, Alberta, Canada.

04' Ram 1500, bad mis-fire. cust repl s/plugs. no help. Codes for coils #7 & 8 w/mis-fire. replaced coils & wire set. Better, but still P0300. Compression good

You still have random misfires (PO300)
You most likely replaced those coils that set a code, and those were not the one bad offender, spiking the computer module.
Take a new coil and put in a cylinder,no change, replace old coil and move new one to next cylinder. You can do that once or twice a day, if you have nothing else to do. You need a 90 degree day, to really get that solved, unless you have an ignition oscilloscope.
Never had a bad spark plug in 45 years.

I have a 2006 nissan altima that misses while driving

Misses that occur only under load are typically spark related. Engines typically need about 8000 to 12000 volts of spark energy to idle, but under load and acceleration, they can require as many as 30,000 volts. Weak coils frquently can still make 10-15000 volts, enough for light cruising and idling, but insufficient for load. Further, a defective boot or carbon tracked sprak plug may fire normally at idle and cruise, but "arc" down a black carbon track in the plug porcelin under load. You should take the car to someone who has the equipment to propely examine misfires. Or if you really feel the need to do it yourself, you could try pulling all spark plugs one at a time( assuming you dont have a scantool or trouble code data to point you to a specific cylinder) and visually inspecting them. They should ALL be clean and dry and white all around. If you see any black lines or marks in the porcelin of any spark plug, replace both that plug, and the wire or coil boot attatched to it. If you dont see any dirty or wet or oil soaked plugs, you likely have a weak coil that will require scan, scope, or load testing to isolate. Most professional shops have the equipment to do this.

Engine misses when placed under load

replace the plug wires this will fix your secondary ignition breakdown. the egr code is due to a bad dpfe sensor which is for back pressure on egr valve.this will not cause misfire.
