SOURCE: when trying to start it makes a a winding noise

First check your battery, if it is OK, then it can be corroded terminals at the battery itself or where the heavy cables terminate; at the starter input terminal (+ cable) and where the negative is attached to either the block or chassis. Both ends of these cables should be cleaned now and then and either dielectric grease or even petroleum jelly can provide some protection against renewed corrosion. NOTE: ALWAYS disconnect the negative battery terminal first! If a tool slips and ends up between the + terminal and any grounded point, it may melt the tool. If the negative is first to be disconnected, it doesn't matter if you slip on this one.

SOURCE: 95 nissan truck - fuel pump or fuse or relay?

Well you have to check the fuse and relay for the fuel pump,if they are good, then you need to take the fuel pump out to test it,there are 2 wires that goes in 1 positive and 1 negative so connect it to the battery to see if the pump is still good or not.

SOURCE: wont start, relay under dash clicks

First, check the connections on the battery and the connections to the starter, but that may be a bad relay and you may have to simply replace it.

SOURCE: will not start

I had this same problem last week on my 2006 Frontier XE 4 cyl, 5 spd. I couldn't figure out the problem, so I took a screw driver and jumped the starter. I figured out that the starter wasn't the problem. Looking online, the forums kept saying that it was likely a bad ignition. I'm not all about changing parts unnecessarily, so I kept searching and trying to find the problem.

I finally found that when you depress the clutch, the clutch safety wasn't being depressed because the little rubber grommet on the back of the clutch pedal had disintegrated. Nissan left a hole, so that once the rubber falls apart the truck is deadlined. Pretty sad since most people will pay hundreds to diagnose the problem for the five dollar fix.

Heater clicking noise in gmc envoy

Do you hear a clicking noise when you turn your truck on? Its probably the actuator. While the defroster was on I removed the fuse locted under the rear driver side seat. I think its 36B. It stopped the clicking noise and my air vents work well now.

I own a 2004 Saturn Vue. It keeps clicking. My Bf thinks its a hazard relay switch but I can't find one online. I keep hearing a clicking noise. It is not constant noise. It is random. It sometimes stops...

there are two things that cause this clicking noise u hear, one and most common is the hazard flasher relay switch assmbly, they also say in a factory bulletin the turn signal switch on the steering column can cause this, any GM dealer should be able to order these parts for you.

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and recently everytime I start it up, I hear this ticking noise that appears to be coming from under the driver's side dash... Please help.. No money to fix

It is probably a relay clicking that is going to go out in the near future. If you have a problem with the chevy down the road, first thing to do is check your relays under the dash with a cheapo ohmmeter or muti-tester and check for resistance
