Question about Suzuki Vitara
No engine option stated, so answers are near impossible but generic.
why not scan it.
if no DTCs
then check the maf sensor, (if it has one)
see the output of the MAF is it good?
if that is good we check fuel pressure. 30psi or more.
if that is good , did engine lose compression? or or more cylinders?

This could the problem with onboard computer failure .......
try that after visual check under hood confirms no obvious failures like missing drive belt or disconnected electric wires...

If it's hard to get into gear you should check the clutch is disengaging properly.
Before changing the clutch plate, check that the clutch throw-out is adjusted correctly and the actuating hydraulics/levers have the correct amount of travel.

Testimonial: "Many thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately relay seems fine. I think it may be an engine management problem."
