Usually the switch goes bad, not a fuse...but check for all blown fuses,...if all are working, then the old a vehicle needs a new part (eBay) or junkyard selection part from the same year vehicle

SOURCE: turn signal don't work or the flashers?

If you still have flasher problems, I read on Google to spray WD-40 down in and around the hazzard flasher button, then press it up and down several times...and BINGO...all flashers and signals worked again....just had some dirt and dust in the wiring....

SOURCE: 2000 grand marquis cruise control not working

Have seen this problem before. You need to look under dash at brake pedal and find a blue switch with plunger contacting pedal, disconnect connector and jump with a peice of wire and drive to see if cruise works and if it does replace deactivation switch this should get you going.

Why do the fuses on my scion xb keep blowing?

Did you check to make sure the fuses are the right rating to begin with. Fuses are rated by amperage and disconnect the circuit or "blow" if there if the circuit is shorted out (+ touches - or vice versa) or a device or circuit draws more amperage than the fuse is rated. Did you buy the vehicle new? If not then there may have been modifications. Does is have the stock radio? Does it have an amp or subwoofer? Driving lights? There is also a fuse block with relays and fusable links under the hood. Refer to the owners manual and verifiy all the components in both fuse blocks are of the correct type and rating. Physically remove and inspect every related fuse and make sure no one has "jumped" a fuse by wrapping it in foil or ataching a solid wire across the connection. If all that works out ok, have the voltage reguator checked as it is regulates a constact rate of power to the car. If is is allowing momentary surges, it is possible that it could exceed the cirucit ratings especiallly on the 10 and 15 amp circuits that most of your accessorys and lighting use; Good Luck.

How often do you need to change the oil? When we purchased it, the sticker said 5,000 miles. We got an oil change a couple months ago and the new sticker put on says 3,000 miles, the change oil soon...

the standard has always been 3000 miles,,,dont mess with these that claim more,,,carbon build up is the leading cause of faliure,,and the oil is the blood of your engine,,keep it changed,,put some injector cleaner in couple times a yr.,,water remover couple times in winter and you will get long service from your vehicle.

Describe Sir I already bought a new TOYOTA TUNDRA from united state of America from camelback Toyota scion 1333 east camelback *phoenix, AZ 85014 (www.camelbacktoyota.com) and shipped it to STATE OF QATAR....

I haven't any reason to disbelieve the Qatar agent when he or she says that that any car purchased outside of the Qatar will not be under warranty. GMC is not the same as Toyota, I guess.

The Toyota Tundra is an excellent vehicle, and I'm sure that if you do the regular service on it then it will last a long time. However, there's the issue of whether it's under warranty in case anything goes wrong with it.

I guess it's one of those things that one might encounter in international business with warranties and such.

I never thought about that issue as being an issue, but apparently that's what they told you.
---
COVERAGES Every Toyota Car, Truck and SUV is built to exceptional standards. And that's not idle boasting. We back it up with these Limited Warranty Coverages: Basic 36 months/36,000 miles (whichever comes first) (all components other than normal wear and maintenance items). Powertrain 60 months/60,000 miles (whichever comes first) (engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, seatbelts and airbags). Rust-Through 60 months/unlimited miles (corrosion perforation of sheet metal). Emissions Coverages vary under Federal and California regulations. Refer to applicable Owner's Warranty Information booklet for details. Accessories For accessories purchased at time of the new vehicle purchase, the Toyota Accessory Warranty coverage is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the vehicle's in-service date, which is the same coverage as the Basic coverage of the Toyota New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

For dealer-installed accessories purchased after the new vehicle purchase, the coverage is 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date the accessory was installed on the vehicle, or the remainder of the above 36 months or 36,000 miles Basic coverage from the vehicle's in-service date, whichever provides greater coverage, with the exception of car covers. Car covers are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase and do not assume any coverage under the Toyota New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

For customer (non-dealer)-installed accessories purchased after the new vehicle purchase, the coverage is 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first), from the purchase date of the accessory.

You may be eligible for transportation assistance if it's necessary that your vehicle be kept overnight for repairs covered under warranty. Please see your authorized Toyota dealership for further details. Hybrid-Related Component Coverage Hybrid-related components for hybrid vehicles are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles. The HV battery may have longer coverage under emissions warranty. Refer to applicable Owner's Warranty Information booklet for details. For complete details about Toyota's warranties, please refer to the applicable Owner's Warranty Information booklet or see your Toyota dealer. ---
The above warranties are just 'limited' warranties which may not be honored internationally, especially when the dealer in Qatar tells you that they will not honor it.

The end of the above tells you to see your Toyota dealer and that's what you did. Maybe you could argue your case with a district or regional manager, but I think that it probably will be difficult to find free service in your country.

That means that you will have to pay for any service that your vehicle requires, rather than getting it free or covered under the 'limited' warranty.

I wish you luck, however, in obtaining warranty service for your Toyota vehicle, over there.

This is hard for me, because I would like to give you a lesson on vehicle purchasing.
You somehow bought a vehicle with a bad trans.
That could have been prevented
Having own a trans shop ,I have nothing positive to share with you. Sorry.
You will need professional help and unless it is a simple electrical issue, your going for a complete rebuild.
I did alot of foreign trans work. They just don't hold up like a Chevy or Dodge or some Fords.

At how many miles should I change my transmission oil?

Hi,
You should have a service manual that came with your vehicle when you purchased it. It will tell you how often you should change the different fluids, either in months or the amount of miles you have put on the vehicle. Most dealers have different schedules. If you don't have a records manual, you can call the dealer and they will tell you this. My vehicle says every 12,000 miles or 6 months which ever comes first.I hope I have been of some help to you.
Sincerely, shastalaker7
