SOURCE: Check engine light is on.

Hello DI Nichols.

The fluid temp sensor you replaced was the transmission temperature sensor?
If so, one of the leads to the sensor could be shorted to ground or possibly, but not likely, a bad PCM.
Trace the wires carefully for a chafed harness and repair as necessary.

This is a description of the code, just in case you have not had the opportunity to see it as yet.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The automatic TRANSAXLE fluid (ATF) temperature sensor is installed in the Valve Body. This sensor uses a thermistor whose resistance changes according to the temperature changes. The TCM supplies a 5V reference voltage to the sensor, and the output voltage of the sensor changes when the ATF temperature varies. The automatic TRANSAXLE fluid (ATF) temperature provides very important data for the TCM's control of the Torque Converter Clutch, and is also used for many other purposes.

DTC DESCRIPTION
This DTC code is set when the ATF temperature output voltage is lower than a value generated by thermistor resistance, in a normal operating range, for approximately 1 second or longer. The TCM regards the ATF temperature as fixed at a value of 80°C (176°F).

Code p0335, and jerkinging problem with pending codes p02300 and p0711

THE INTERMITTENT SIGNAL FROM THE DEFECTIVE CRANK SENSOR IS CAUSING THE CAR TO STARVE OF SPARK AND FUEL. IF YOU REPLACE THE CRANK SENSOR, THIS WILL FIX THE JERKING PROBLEM BY HAVING A CONTINUOUS FLOW OF FUEL AND SPARK. THE TRANSMISSIONS ON THESE CARS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR SHIFTING PROBLEMS. THE TRANSMISSION MAY NEED A NEW FILTER AND FLUID. HOPE THIS HELPS. KEEP ME POSTED PLEASE. THANKS FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA. GOOD LUCK
